From inside an arch next to the Qutab Minar. As the sun sets, the flights landing at IGI Airport are framed by this minar along with a few crows.

Sunset at Shalimar Gardens

Apart from being a residential area in north of Delhi, which is what most Delhiites think it is, Shalimar Garden actually is a Mughal Garden. Long forgotten but grand and beautiful in its time, it lies in one corner of the residential area next to the village of Shalimar. It is a remarkably large open space with lots of fruit trees and lends itself to a site for watching a sunset from. From Shalimar Gardens last Friday.

Sunset at Lodi Gardens

My loose feet took me to Lodi Gardens yesterday. It happened to be a clear day, atleast as clear as a day can get in Delhi. The sun was setting in the distance, over the domes of the Bara Gumbad mosque. Some other day, I will write about the tombs in Lodi Gardens. Till then, the sunset.
